Miguel Repiso was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, in 1961, where he currently lives and works. He is known as Miguel Rep or simply Rep, a self-taught Argentine cartoonist, caricaturist, comic artist, and graphic humorist.

From a very young age, at fourteen, he published his first drawing, and to this day, he remains active, contributing to newspapers and magazines.

He has published more than 30 books and is internationally acclaimed. He won the First Prize in the End of Century Contest by I.C.I. in Buenos Aires, as well as the Fine Work and Excellence Prize in the humor contest organized by The Yomiuri Shimbun in Tokyo.
